Parents interested in volunteering on the campuses, guest speakers, college students completing observation hours and other events will require a name based criminal history background search.

The process will consist of the individual completing two forms, prior to being on campus. One form is a GRISD form and the second is a DPS form.

Both of these forms are available to you below. These forms may also be obtained at each of our campus offices.

Please submit your completed forms to the campus office for which you will be volunteering or observing. The campus office will submit the completed forms to the Personnel and Support Service office for processing and review. Individuals receiving a favorable review will be added to the district’s approved volunteer list. Individuals receiving an unfavorable review will be notified by mail.
