This past weekend, Glen Rose High School Art took a record number of 36 students to compete in the Regional Visual Arts Scholastic Event (our UIL) at Azle High School. Our students all walked away with top scores and ALL medaled in their Division, moving them ALL on to Area competition (record number of medals and Area participants)! Out of those 36, 15 had a perfect score with no deductions. Out of those, 3 students won Area and are moving on to compete at State (another record number)! Artwork will be posted to our Instagram site and Area winners will be posted to the district webpage! All artworks will additionally be on display at the District Art Show this spring.
